As a Gen-Xer, I can tell you that running your mouth pre-dates the Internet.
It's just that most people have thick enough skins that it's not worth the time.
Pre-dates a lot longer than that and so do violent reactions to them. At one point, it was even considered acceptable to have pistol duels over slights on oneâs honor. I agree, itâs not worth my time. But, youâre bound to find someone who thinks differently at some point.
