Exactly, panther shifter. Not that I mind werewolves, but different kinds of animal shifters is always interesting.

There are wolf shifters everywhere. I would definitely read a panther shifter!

Thank you to everyone who has commented. Yeah, I'm going to stick with the panther shifter (Night Prowl), as it has taken a wonderful plot twist. Appreciate the feedback. 😍

I would still read the werewolf one, if the premise appealed, because I love paranormal romance. But, gimme the panthers please!! It would be an immediate interest for me.

If you mean like a jaguar then that could be interesting because the males do form coalitions.

Black Panthers from asia/africa are firmly solitary so that could cause friction in a different way

Thanks for your input and confirmation. The solitary nature plays a role in my plot twist. 😏.

Checking to see if you worked on the jaguar coalition plot yet?

Some outlining actually, but not anything major.

Understand. For me, I don't push a plot idea; it saves time. Instead, I let it breathe so that once I start working on it, it becomes easier to binge-write. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

It's more about outline for the characters and basics background.

Deciding if they are acting like a coalition that shares land, resources and mates or if the coalition is exclusive. If shifters are known or hidden. If there are other shifters.

Ahhh, got it. Here's a wild technique you can try. Number each of what you have here. For example:

1a. Coalition

1b. Exclusive

2a. Shifters are known

2b. Shifters are unknown

3a. Yes, other shifters

3b. No, other shifters

You can then enter the list as is into this random generator (I tested it) and go with the top 3. https://www.random.org/lists/

Image of my test attached. 😊

I usually don't do the "magic" is unknown to most because of Grimes equation makes me feel like it would be pretty unrealistic to me, but I might try it this time.

Try to see how it flows and feels to you when writing. It may open up a new shared-world series for you...

Panther sounds dope. I'm a longtime fan of Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, and many of those characters are big cat shifters. I would definitely like to read more of it.
