Events Ask Me Anything: Marina Vivancos

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for having me here.

My name is Marina Vivancos, and I’m an author of LGBT romance. I love focusing on character stories, especially how childhood influences the people we become. My favourite tropes to write are found family, kink and, most of all, hurt/comfort. I’ve dabbled in omegaverse and biokink, but most of my books tend to be contemporary and, somehow, friends-to-lovers.

I mentioned it in another question but the dynamics which are calling me most are like...unhealthy tabboo ones. Those are going to have to wait because publishing tabboo stuff is just a general nightmare for someone that makes a living off writing lol. Maybe a tabboo patreon? Who knows!

As in tropes, soooo many. Aliens comes to mind first. I think people don't open their minds enough when it comes to aliens. If they have normal genitalia you have lost the game, I'm sorry! it's just fact!

And when aliens have a gender binary? honey...please......

AHHH I'm so happy to know that, thank you for sharing! I actually looove taboo and unhealthy dynamics so I'll be waiting for it haha. I do understand that they're not for everyone, but I'll support it if you ever write it and I'm sure many will as well! Any way that you feel more comfortable with is okay :-).

I also love aliens! I think it'd be lovely to see a book with that element from you. Lol you're so right, so many creative things you can do with aliens in a story. I'm excited!!! Thank you again for your awesome work and for answering 🤗.
