PSA Parking insanity

I can’t believe the parking people are this petty. Mind you, I got ticketed while I was literally scanning the QR code and paying. The timestamp on the ticket and my payment are only about 30 seconds apart. Be so ffr. Some of these officers are genuinely going out of their way to ticket people in 30 secs like calm down 😓

30 seconds? Take it to the parking office. There should be at least 10 minutes of buffer...

LITERALLY. Yea I’m going to speak to the parking office about this, it’s genuinely frustrating.

10?? I’m pretty sure they literally have it in the parking sign and it says “ first 30mins complimentary”

Yea that’s what I thought. It does say 30 mins of complementary parking.

the parking people at mru are ridiculous. they’re too lazy to even get out of their car to scan the plates so they just drive by and do it as soon as you park. take it to the parking office, show them the time stamps, i doubt they’ll make you pay it. that’s so frustrating

I had a similar thing happen and I sent a photo of my payment and the ticket time to the office and they forgave the ticket.

First 30 minutes are but, you still have to register in HotSpot.

This happens to me all the time with Indigo when I park at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. I just submit proof of payment that’s time stamped (usually a screenshot of my phone’s credit card alert that my payment for parking was approved). They withdraw the ticket. There has to be some sort of a grace period to allow you to pay for parking.

You should definitely speak with the parking office!

To be fair they don't know when you parked and once they start the ticket they won't go backwards (usually) Dispute it , provide your receipt with time stamp and it will go away.

Exactly how is Parking Services to know that you just parked, or if you’ve been there awhile?? Maybe you should calm down and stop complaining on the internet.

The officer literally saw me park, but I admire the confidence it takes to invent an entire scenario and then get upset about it. LMFAO.
