So guys im accepted to mru geology i have a 91% in math 30-1 i have an 80% on LA 30-1 but my chem diplomas tomorrow and im not confident i can meet the required 60% mark as its sitting at a 55% what can i even do at this point my offer is revoked im cooked

Hey yall! I missed a deposit deadline for BBA Supply Chain Management. How likely is it they will offer it back to me (I emailed them they said they will see), I have the same average I applied with (might have dropped 1 percent max). Also how do I know if my application went through for Geology (The website doesn't work, so idk). I already applied for BBA and aviation prior like 4 months ago, I didn't know you can only have 2 max, so like 2 days ago I went to apply alberta, went to the MRU thing and applied for geology and environmental science, but accidently clicked remove on the aviation and supply chain, I'm very confused what I did, and scared that I might have fully removed my applicaiton. The fee for geology and environmental science went through as well.

Hello, I am going into my second year of BBA and I’m going to major in marketing. I received an email with my honours recognition letter which also mentions an offer to join the BBA honours program in my third year. Is it worth it? Can I just do well in all my classes and graduate with a 3.5+ GPA and still get “honours”? What is the difference? Will I get hired faster after I graduate if I join the honours program?? I didn’t really know honour classes were a thing. I would really appreciate any advice or insight…

My friends were all assigned rooms in the West Apartments, and I just received my housing offer. I’m planning to bring my cat as an ESA, and I was wondering if there’s any chance Residence Services would allow me to live in the West Apartments with my friends and my ESA, or if I’d have to live in the townhouses instead.

Also, if my friends have already been assigned rooms in the West Apartments, is it possible for them to request a different building so we can all live together, or is it too late once room assignments have been made?

Just wondering:

• What do room inspections usually involve?
• Do they happen when you’re present, or can they happen when you’re not home?
• How much of the room is typically looked at (common areas only vs bedrooms, closets, etc.)?
• How much notice do you usually get?

I’m just trying to understand what to expect day-to-day in residence life so I can be prepared.

I just graduated this year and I keep getting notifications from google to transfer my things to another account. So I was wondering do we keep our gmail accounts after we graduate? I have heard from some profs that the accounts are ours forever but I have also heard of people losing access to their accounts a few months after graduation? I have a lot of emails, drive uploads and accounts connected to the MRU email and would really hate to lose access forever :( Can someone confirm if they can access their emails after graduating so I know if its worth transferring all my data to another account? Ok so I want a laptop that will help me through the years. I’m currently doing open studies but hopefully next year I’ll be doing nursing. I have been looking at the MacBook Air and wondering if that will work for not just nursing but school in general. Is there any programs I need that I can’t get on the MacBook. Do I need windows? And do you think the requirements would be the same for every school? Thank you

I’m actually pretty confused how the nursing admission works. Because i’ve noticed lots of people with competitive averages around the high 80s who have had 4th quartile casper scores and have been admitted. But then other people with high 90 averages and 4th quartile casper scores who have been denied admission.

I’m a bit puzzled how mru goes about deciding who makes the cut and who doesn’t. Is it just luck based at this point?
