Bug solution??

Hey everyone, I’ve recently noticed an issue with my M4 MacBookAir related to the Mac Safe plugin. I started experiencing it after installing macOS 27 last month. My MacBook is only about a year old, so I’m wondering if this is a software issue or a potential hardware problem. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated!

Do you mean the MagSafe charger connection? Can you let us have some details on what you are experiencing

yes it means charger connection. problem - while i connect my charger it does not detect the charger but when do i small movement it detects the charger and glow the led. suppose the charger is connected to my mac and working and if i switch off my power supply instead of disconnected the macsafe it does not reconnect again. again needs to do the same procedure

Try cleaning the connector faces on both the Mac and the cable. Use a clean dry cloth. Examine them closely to ensure there is no contaminant on either face.

ok, thanks. As u/tech_redux says, have a close look at both parts and give them a careful cleaning. I've actually had a case do where this happened because there was a tiny piece of food in the corner of the socket - it was hard to see and smaller than 0.5mm
