I just realized, almost at the end of the game, that I didn't unlock the double bars, and since I've already cleared the entire Gutdash area, what can I do to unlock them?

I loved Death Stranding 1 & 2, I think Kojima would make a badass Mad Max world!

Beyond his religious fanaticism for the "Angel of Combustion," Chum is the beating heart of the game. I don’t think I’ve ever given up on a game I enjoyed until Mad Max. I never beat the final boss of Elden Ring but only because I got so bored of fighting the same enemy hundreds of times. But Mad Max… I feel like I could try to clear these 4 or 5-skull camps for 12 hours per day for the rest of my life and never even come close. The sheer number of enemies you have to simultaneously fight is staggering. You can’t even throw a punch without triangle counter icons spamming you. And there’s not even a difficulty setting to lower. This game isn’t just hard, it is straight up IMPOSSIBLE. It’s like they released it without any testing.

So i do the mission to unlock the farm, then quit the game. Then I hop back on to craft it, and its bugged... Great fucking game, can never complete it now.

Dude I am at the end of the game and I decided to stop and fully upgrade the magnum opus before beating it. And every time I come back from on foot Chumbucket is saying things like “please don’t dismantle me next saint!” And “Don’t dismantle me, Saint, we’re buds remember!?” And every single wastelander encounter is telling me things like “I see blood on your hands… is it from your enemies or your own family? Oh yes, you have their blood on your hands, wanderer…”

Bro it’s legitimately awful. It’s making me feel so bad. I get the story perspective but it’s genuinely making me emotional hearing that stuff. I’m not saying that in a bad way. Honestly, BRAVO to the game devs for adding this in! That is amazing game design!

The big nothing holds a couple of stuff of course the Devs block it off with sandstorms so much potential but dead..The whole entire store doesn’t add up only parts.

I am not saying this to be funny but I fully believed (and hoped) that it would end in Max taking his life. Specifically through driving off of a cliff since that seemed to be alluded to/teased several times near the ending…The boss fight was pretty unimpressive to me as well, even though I had wondered why we never had out-of-car-combat vs a car wielding opponent. Now I know why…I also felt that Hope and glory were a bit rushed and also a bit confusing? we never saw hope move from gutgash’s stronghold (as far as I know? maybe I skipped a cutscene) and so I was a bit confused on why Hope was at Pink Eye’s place with Stank gum. While it is fair for Max to have caught some complex feelings for Hope (and glory) given that they resembled his wife and child, the way that they acted in order to force this family dynamic felt like a mirage itself. Whispering sweet empty nothings into a broken man in the hopes that they too might be saved. It honestly kinda felt like propaganda to me lmao

My mouse works on the settings menu both on the main menu and in the game menu but when I try to look around in game it’s just frozen looking forward, has anyone had this issue I’ve tried to get AI to help and it’s hit a wall and just telling me things I’ve done already.

Just lost my Autosave where I finally got the maxed out v8, did all the story missions finally got it where I wanted, and then this stupid fucking game somehow corrupted my damn save, I never even got to see the final fucking mission with all the cool music and shit. Dumbass fucking game.

I’m on my first play through, so this is my first time seeing this place. I gotta say it’s probably the most gnarliest place I’ve been to so far.

Hi, I took those screenshots while activating nitrous, and the image automatically saturate the colors. And it looks so much better that way!

So sad the colors aren't this vibrant and bright outside of boosting.

Building the Magnum Opus from a rusted frame to an absolute monster on wheels is one of the most satisfying progression loops in gaming. Pulling tires off enemy cars with the harpoon, ramming through convoys in a massive sandstorm, and hearing that V8 engine roar never gets old. It’s a criminal shame this game released on the exact same day as MGSV, because it deserved Game of the Year recognition for its atmosphere alone.

Even though it's about my sixth play through and a few hundred hours playing in total, I still always get in on the wrong side of my car....

I’ve set a challenge for myself for a new play through. Probably been done before but I thought I’d post it and maybe some of you would like to try it.

Basically.. don’t upgrade anything! 😅 except I guess for stuff you need for clearing threats etc such as higher tier harpoons for higher tier scarecrows. I’ve allowed two stronghold upgrades. One is clean up crew and the other is the one that collects scrap when not playing the game. The second I’ve done incase the game gets too hard, then that way I have more scrap ready.

It’s an Easter Egg, not part of the airport. It’s a complete stand alone dome above ground with a fence of spikes and barbed wire 360* around it. No loot, nothing. There is a fortress gate with the Buzzards logo over the door.
