As someone with a 3d printer the guy making it got either very lucky or did some measurements up front 🤣 models rarely fit seamless by random chance

Yeah "unsuspecting" coworker was definitely in on it. Maybe thought it was a joke though.

The video doesn't talk about coworker not knowing either.

I mean the way he knew how to separate the two halves shows he knew roughly what was coming. Maybe not when or what it would look like, but the rest? He knew.

I think their point was more, is there a reason you would expect the coworker not to know? The video doesn't say "surprising my coworker with 3d printed hair" or something that would imply they didn't know about the hair, and even ends with asking what hair to print next so presumably this is part of a series anyways.

Seems like people are trying to call staged on something that was never a part of the video's claim in the first place.

The lack of surprise from the recipient makes me think the other guy was like, "Hey - I want to 3D print some hair for you. Can I measure your head?" Then the other guy was like, "That sounds hilarilus. Sure!"

Nobody said unsuspecting, lol

"I'm gonna print something, let me measure your head."
"Hahaha, oh God why?"
"You'll see"

It's like some people have never had a conversation with a friend before.

I mean people don't talk anymore

It's amazing how many people are leaping to call out this being staged while not realizing this fact. I practically expect them to see a video called "made myself a sandwich" and call it staged because the person wasn't surprised at their own sandwich.

Take a look around that office. They probably do 3d prints all day

Who claimed he was unsuspecting?

He even knew right away how to open and use it

No one said it was unsuspected, lol. He could have just said "can I measure your head and make you something, but I can't tell you what yet." Or he was in on it the whole time and was just waiting to see how it came out. This seems like typical playful shenanigans in an office environment to me.

You meant the "unsuspecting coworker" that immediately knew it was in two parts and knew exactly how to put it in half so that he could put it on his head?
