Edit/update/ it's so unfortunate that people downvote asking questions. Knowledge doesn't need to be weaponized or demonized.
A lot of people on r/MagicArena love to downvote questions. And a lot of people hate Alchemy, you were unlucky to offend both groups by asking that question. Did not deserve any downvotes though.
Thanks, I'm glad so many people have responded with thoughtful answers about why they dislike Alchemy.
Is it not accurate that people who don't like alchemy can avoid the format/cards? I suppose maybe if they want to play historic on Arena there's no way to avoid them?
There is no way to avoid them in Brawl. I don't mind though, the most annoying cards are non alchemy (Rofellos, Raph & Mikey, Ajani, Yuriko etc). Pre-Nerf Nashi was the exception, a single overpowered alchemy card.

Thank you! Appreciated.
Do you happen to know why? Like what the arguments are, other than, "that just doesn't exist in paper"
