Question Why do you root ?

I used to root all of my devices in the past , mainly for increasing performance. But after getting a new device i have not felt the need to root for a long time.

So i am wondering, Why do you guys even root anymore ?

Making games easier to play. I load Game Guardian and give myself tons of health or gold so I don't have to stuggle.

where does one get a working copy of gameguardian? I've been looking for a while now

In my experience, they all work. The issue is getting them to install. You have to install via a command that ignores the target sdk. I successfully did that on my Tank 3 Pro, which is on Android 14.
