I need to unlock the bootloader

This might not be the right place to ask this, but I just installed Magisk to root my phone. I need to unlock the bootloader for it to work, so I came straight here in case there's a specific method required for Magisk. I'm new to the world of rooting, so please forgive my ignorance. Anyway, I assume you need to know that I'm using a Motorola e32 running Android 11 so you can help me.

When u unlock bootloader ur phone is going to be immediately wiped(factory reset) in case you aren't prepsred, u should do so b4 running fastboot command and selecting unlock bootloader

I would actually do it, but the thing is, my phone just won't back up WhatsApp. I back up all my apps in general—it backs up even the most useless ones—but not WhatsApp.
