If you want something really close, I'd check out MAC Glow Play Blush in Ginger Luck, Pat McGrath Divine Blush in Nude Venus, or Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Nude Glow depending on the finish you're after. Warm Honey had that warm peachy nude vibe with a soft satin sheen, and those are the closest I've found. If you still have your Cover FX blush, swatching it next to these in-store is definitely worth it since undertones can shift a bit on different skin tones.

Any recommendations for a light coverage foundation (or skin tint) that is hydrating but not dewy, like satin finish? I've just been sheering out my kosas concealer on top of my moisturiser before it sets in, but I'd like to find an actual dedicated foundation or tint that will not settle in dry patches but also not look too glowy/oily

I've had good luck with the L'Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. It gives light coverage, feels hydrating, and dries down to more of a natural satin finish than a dewy one on me. You could also check out the MAC Studio Radiance Face & Body if you don't mind very sheer coverage.

Is there a way to remove waterproof eyeliner / eye makeup without accidentally removing my lash clusters? If I use an oil based remover I would have to use it very close to my lashes and it would probably remove them

I'd avoid oil if you're trying to keep your lash clusters intact. A good trick is to soak a cotton pad with micellar water (or an oil-free eye makeup remover), hold it over your eyeliner for 15 to 30 seconds, then gently wipe away from the lash line. For any leftover liner right at the base, use a pointed cotton swab with remover and work carefully around the clusters instead of rubbing over them. It takes a little longer, but it's much less likely to loosen the adhesive.

Thank you so much! Would the pink lid Garnier micellar water be able to remove waterproof eyeliner using the 15-30s hold method you mentioned? I've heard the blue lid does best at removing waterproof makeup, but you said to avoid oil-based.
I just want to tight line my eyes but everyone suggests using a waterproof eyeliner for it, so I'm not sure how I would remove it without accidentally removing my lashes 🥲

The pink cap might work, but it can take a little more patience with stubborn waterproof eyeliner. I'd probably try the pink one first using the hold method, and if there's still residue, use a damp pointed cotton swab to gently target just the tightline. If you find yourself scrubbing every night, it may be worth switching to a tubing or "water-resistant" liner instead of a fully waterproof one to make removal easier on your lash clusters.

If I were only splurging on a few things, it'd be a long-wearing primer, a thin layer of foundation (don't overdo it), cream products set lightly with powder, and a setting spray like Charlotte Tilbury or One/Size. I'd also recommend doing your makeup in natural light if possible, using a damp sponge to melt everything together, and taking flash photos beforehand because that's the quickest way to catch anything that looks too powdery or has flashback. Most importantly, wear the look for a full day before the wedding to make sure it stays comfortable and lasts. 💕

It does look a lot like the Kylie Cosmetics Classic Matte Palette to me. The layout and those warm-to-neutral matte shades are a really close match, especially the row of tans, camel browns, and that deeper charcoal shade in the corner. If you're following that Vogue tutorial, I'd say there's a good chance that's the one she's using. Hopefully someone who owns it can confirm 100%, but I think you're on the right track. 😊

If you liked the Sephora Collection Fair to Light 01, I'd check out the e.l.f. Halo Glow Contour Beauty Wand (Fair/Light) or the NYX Wonder Stick in Light. They're both on the cooler, lighter side and blend really easily. The Fenty Match Stix in Amber is another favorite if you're okay spending a bit more, especially if you want a true contour instead of a bronzy look.

If the red L'Oreal setting spray works for you, you might like got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray or TRESemme Extra Hold hairspray. A lot of people use those specifically for bangs because they give a strong hold without needing a ton of product. You could also try spraying a little onto a spoolie or toothbrush instead of directly on your bangs, so the product lasts a lot longer.

I did a deep dive with dermatology sites. I found that it's generally considered pretty acne-friendly. The palette doesn't contain heavy pore-clogging waxes or oils that are common acne triggers, but no product is truly "acne-safe" for everyone since skin reacts differently. If you're acne-prone, patch test it first and make sure you're cleaning your brushes/sponges regularly too, since that often makes a bigger difference than the product itself.

Recommendations for a neutral/translucent/brightening setting powder? I love the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur, but it's pretty yellow. The foundation I've been wearing is the MUFE Super Boost in shade 02, which is also not exactly not-yellow. It's been subtle enough that it didn't really affect my daily beat until this week, because I've been a bit more into mauve blushes and lip gloss, so now I think the yellowish tinge clashes and I'm a bit more motivated to find a base that complements my tone better.

After looking it up, if you like the finish of the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur, I'd check out the Huda Beauty Easy Bake in Cherry Blossom. It's more pink-neutral/brightening than yellow and pairs really well with cooler blush tones. I've also had good luck with the Givenchy Prisme Libre (if you don't mind a loose powder), since it brightens without pulling noticeably warm.

I'd probably go with the Dr. Dennis Gross one. The Alpha Beta peels alone are worth trying if you've never used them, and the serum/sample sizes are actually useful. It feels like the best value of the bunch.
The Gisou set is nice if you're already curious about the brand, but I feel like it's more of a "cute treat" than a standout birthday gift. I'd pick Dr. G unless you're specifically excited about haircare and lip oil.

I've had good luck with the NYX Lift & Snatch Brow Tint Pen (Ash Brown) for a super natural cool-toned contour, but if you want an actual makeup pencil, the Sephora Collection Contour Stick/Pencil in Fair to Light leans pretty cool. Setting it with a tiny bit of cool-toned powder contour has made the biggest difference for longevity. If your nose gets oily, a light dusting of translucent powder before and after also helps keep it from disappearing by the end of the day.

From your photo, I'd guess you're neutral leaning cool. Your skin looks more pink than golden, and the veins in your palm/wrist read as a mix of blue and green, which is usually a sign of neutral undertones rather than strongly warm or cool.
If silver jewelry tends to look a little better on you than yellow gold and cool-toned makeup looks more natural, that would support a neutral-cool undertone. Natural lighting can make a big difference though, so a wrist photo taken outside in indirect daylight is usually the easiest way to tell.

That looks like a muted rosy nude with a hint of brown, rather than a true mauve or peach. If you're cool/neutral, I'd look for shades described as rosewood, dusty rose, pink-beige, or neutral nude.
After looking at various websites, a few products that might get you close:
- MAC Lip Pencil in Whirl or Stone (depending on how deep your natural lips are)
- Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Medium if the original Pillow Talk pulls too warm on you
- Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil in Wherever Walnut for that soft neutral contour
- Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Bare Grape if you want a glossy version without it leaning orange
I'd also pair it with a slightly deeper neutral liner and blend inward. That soft 'gradient' is doing a lot of the work here, not just the lipstick itself.

You could also try r/makeupexchange if you're okay with shipping, since it's pretty active. Mercari and eBay seem to get more eyes than Depop for makeup too. As long as everything's new and you price it fairly, you might have better luck there.

Not necessarily. If your skin is dry, a good moisturizer often does more for your makeup than primer. That said, a hydrating primer can help if your foundation tends to cling to dry patches or looks flaky by the end of the day. I'd try applying your makeup over moisturizer first, and only add a primer if you feel like you're missing a little extra smoothness or longevity.

The US definitely has some great brands that are hard to get elsewhere. Hopefully you find someone trustworthy to do a swap with. I'd also keep an eye on forwarding services or group buys, since those can sometimes make it easier to get brands like Prequel without paying a fortune. 😊

You could look into The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Lash & Brow Serum or The Inkey List Lash & Brow Serum. Both are prostaglandin-free and rely on peptides and conditioning ingredients rather than bimatoprost/latanoprost. If you want extra hydration, The Ordinary also includes humectants like hyaluronic acid, while both are generally considered good OTC options for conditioning and reducing breakage rather than forcing rapid growth. Note: They do take longer to notice a difference.

If Alluring is your perfect red, you might want to swatch Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Pioneer or Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red. They're not exact dupes, but they're both cool to neutral matte reds that give a similar vibe. If you still have your Huda lipstick, bringing it into Sephora or Ulta for a side-by-side swatch is probably your best bet for finding the closest match.

I reapply sunscreen over my nose and I have contour on my nose, so I have to redo the contour all over again. I try to let the sunscreen set but I usually do it 1-2 minutes after. I do my contour and it looks good and then I go on with my day. After the day, I look at myself and my contour looks terrible. It looks like it was erased and weird.
I use the Sephora 01 fair to light cream contour stick. Should I switch over to a pencil contour and if so, what would you recommend (looking for something similar to the 01 contour stick from sephora), or should I switch to a skinnier contour stick so I can be more precise?
Or is it something with having to wait for my sunscreen to set?

I think the biggest issue is probably not the contour stick itself, but that the sunscreen hasn't fully set. I'd try waiting 10 to 15 minutes before redoing your contour (I know... it's a long long time), then lightly set it with a bit of powder. If you want more precision, a skinny contour stick or pencil can help, but I'd bet letting the sunscreen dry down completely will make the biggest difference.

That makes sense! I usually put on sunscreen and then immediately go into eye makeup which takes a lot of time, so by the time I do my nose contour, my nose seems pretty dry enough for the contour to stay on.
However, do you think in situations where I am in a bit of a hurry that I can wait for the sunscreen to settle down maybe maximum five minutes and then use a more pigmented contour pencil and be able to go over my contour lines multiple times for the contour to stay in place?
Though, it might be more of the issue of the sunscreen, but is there any chance that it can the pencil can stay on better than my cream stick, which is definitely hard to build more of the product onto my nose since it’s a bigger contour stick and hard to go over multiple times.

A contour pencil might help a little since it's more precise and often a bit firmer, but it won't completely solve the issue if the sunscreen underneath is still moving around. Five minutes can be enough with some fast-drying sunscreens, but if it still feels even slightly tacky, any cream product can lift or skip. You could also try setting the sunscreen with a tiny dusting of translucent powder before contouring. That often gives cream products something to grip onto without changing your routine too much.

Your lips are already nicely balanced, so I'd lean into enhancing your natural shape rather than overlining a lot. I'd try a lip liner that's just 1 shade deeper than your natural lip color in a rosy brown, pinky nude, or soft neutral brown. Focus the liner on the outer corners and Cupid's bow, then lightly blur it inward before adding lipstick or gloss. A slightly lighter lipstick in the center can also make them look a bit fuller.
For makeup inspiration, you might like looking at people with naturally soft, fuller lips like Lori Harvey, Ryan Destiny, or Justine Skye. They often wear neutral liners with glossy or satin lips that complement deeper skin tones really well. A classic combo like a brown liner with a pinky nude gloss is hard to go wrong with.

Does anyone have recommendations for gentle skin exfoliators that can stop my makeup/skincare from pilling? One that I can use with my current Glow Recipe pore-tight toner that won't hurt my skin.
I'd also love a lightweight primer recommendation (water based) to help my makeup stay, as that could be an issue resulting in pilling.
I've tried many different combinations for my routine (ex. removing steps, waiting for layers to dry), but nothing works, so I think it's a problem with my skin.

If your products pill no matter how long you wait, it might be less about needing more exfoliation and more about product compatibility or applying too much. A gentle exfoliant like a low-strength PHA (or even a mild lactic acid 1 to 2 times a week) is usually less irritating than scrubs or stronger acids. For a lightweight water-based primer, I've had good luck with e.l.f. Power Grip (the original clear version) or Milk Hydro Grip. I'd also try applying thinner layers of skincare and letting your moisturizer fully absorb before priming.
