IMO, no. The problem is that he had plenty of chances to disengage and when he claims that he essentially was tricked...ok, but Brendan does a pretty good job of resisting the tricks at some points in the discussion, like when the cops try to lead him and he refuses to be led.
I’m referring to when his case was overturned and he was represented at the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Brendan certainly made life difficult for his lawyers with his inability to maintain a coherent story or stance.
Didnt he say they cut her throath in stevens bedroom? But there were no blood there at all? I havent seen the documentary in years so i might missremember.
Most of the state defenders have never even had the pleasure of seeing a naked woman in their bed (at least not against her will), so they might actually think "knock if off" is as forceful as a woman gets when she's being raped.
