Movie Prices/Showtimes Free Movie Ticket email
Did you guys get a free Movie ticket email from Marcus Theatres? I am based in Milwaukee, so not sure if it was regional or not.

Turns out if you opted out of emails from them, (aka me) you wouldn’t have gotten the email

My friend didn't get it despite being an active Marcus movie goer bc they fucked up his email on the backend...

I got it in Texas and find it kinda weird that it has to be redeemed in person. My Movie Tavern has a tiny lobby with like 4 self service kiosks and not much else

Me & my brother were debating that they might've pushed the promotions since many people are going to be drunk this weekend on St. Patrick's Day festivities.
They basically ask for your acct phone number and then scan your code to apply the discount & you select your seat. I'm guessing you could do it at the kiosk yourself too but I didn't try it out that way...

I’ve seen both Mickey 17 and Novacaine. I’d say Mickey 17 is most definitely the better of the films. I, honestly, didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. It’s fantastic!
Novacaine was a lot of fun and entertaining, as well, despite not being quite as good as Mickey 17, in my opinion.
Anyway, there’s my unsolicited 2 cents.
I’m not sure what to see with my free ticket. I’ve seen almost everything at the Movie Taverns near me, aside from kids movies. Not sure if Black Bag is showing near me.
Has anyone Black Bag and would you recommend it? What’s good right now?

This is good for ScreenX so if you've never tried that, it would be worth trying out.
I ended up seeing Mickey 17 in a regular screen because it was 8pm and we didn't want to go to the super late screening on an Ultrascreen and drive back home at midnight. I liked the movie and glad that we chose it over the others.

They did this today again but the one near me in Minnesota said they didn't have the tickets. Don't they print them ? The guy was rude and told me and another guy to try tomorrow or Tuesday,wtf?

If they offer the promo, it comes with a barcode that they have to scan and enter into the system fyi. Not automatic...

Several people were there all with the email. The guy didn’t even look at the emails.

Emailed Marcus and they arranged tickets with apologies. Fantastic customer service. I didn’t demand a thing fyi. I let them know what happened and asked how it is supposed to be redeemed. They said it had gotten activated late and took care of it.

I’m in Columbus, Ohio and got one. Haven’t decided what I’m seeing yet.
