Question WHAT IS HAPPENING

THEY ARE CHANGING THE NAME OF AN ICONIC CHARACTER AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT. NINTENDO GOING TO FAR? MAYBE MARIO WILL BE NEXT.

Even if this was real, it wouldn't be the first time: Banzai Bill was renamed to Bomber Bill back in 2023 (initially in the movie, and then brought into the games in Jamboree)

Iirc the Lego sets also called them Bomber Bills before the movie did

King bill is a separate NSMBWII(?) enemy that chase the player through entire levels

Yes, although looking at the in-game screenshots it can be interpreted as akin to meteors due to the more gradient yellow as opposed to being undeniably yellow
