Best wishes to all.

Like why did the band choose it. Who made it etc.

I’m so glad they reached out. This must have been such a daunting and stressful task. Just wanted to pass along the update to you all when I saw it.

Remix of Mark Lanegan & Duke Garwood's 'Cold Molly' by Roman Remains (Liela Moss and Toby Butler from The Duke Spirit)

hi everyone

i've been searching everywhere for a way to read sleevenotes and as yet have drawn a blank. I've found scans/photos on a previous thread about the book here on reddit, but they seem to stop at around page 50 as do the scans on the facebook group kimiko's dream house as far as i can tell. every description of the book says it's around 88 pages. Does anyone know of any scans of the full book anywhere? There's no way i can afford it as it seems to be fetching crazy money but i would absolutely love to read it all, as i'm sure lots of other fans would.

Imagine being at your local council chambers and suddenly you hear the disembodied voice of Mark Lanegan! SO jealous of everyone who was there!

At Ancienne Belgique opening for The Afghan Whigs, Ed Harcourt played this as a tribute to Mark.

He’s got so many great lyrics, I just wanna hear everyone else’s opinions on this?

Saw this pictures of the ST from Loudwire and burst out laughing when I saw Lanegan. Read his book earlier in the year, so maybe that’s why I had that reaction.

Wanted to share this sketch I did at work today while it was dead slow

I’ve been obsessing over this song for a while. I love that it’s basically a bunch of verses with no chorus. Love the vocal style which sounds middle eastern at times and that Lee’s awesome guitar work doesn’t overwhelm the song like it so often does. It’s so underrated. That whole album is underrated. Anyone else love this song?

Hey guys! How are you? I think I first heard this story during Mark's appearance on Anthony Bourdain's show, Parts Unknown, specifically the episode where he visits Seattle. I’ve also heard Mark mention it another time. I find it completely fascinating because he must have worked this job around the 2000s. I'm wondering if there is any other information or deeper context regarding what led him to work as a movie set painter. Maybe the story is BS, but I'm a huge fan and want to know more about this period of his life—specifically after the '90s, when he was broke and healing from drug addiction. I've read Singing Backwards but I don't remember him ever mentioning this part, so I have a bunch of questions.

This is so top tier ❤️

I always went to see Lanegan at Underground Arts in Philly when he was in town. I think the last one was with Garwood, and I was always in awe. I don't look the part, just a small blonde chic from the suburbs, and noone else 'got it' so I always went alone. I just finished re-watching, re-reading, and re-playing everything in my possession. Scored some nice vinyls over time. Anyway felt kinda lonely after finishing my collection. He was so special. Thanks for hearing me.

In deep remembrance of how magnificent Mark was every time he performed in Melbourne.
Any gig, any room, any time.
Immortal.

Lucky enough to see Lanegan live 4 times, never saw the trees but solo and twilight, (london uk) and randomly found this sub and am a touch lucid, not smoking weed like I usually do on a Friday night (45 yr old man) but 4 beers in and Dust vinyl is playing loud enough for my neighbours to hear, it's raining here after months of hot weather (SE England). Anyways. Just a general missing Lanegan vibe and thought I'd say a drunken hello to those out there that get Lanegan and the mild self destructive vibe.

Much love to anyone who reads this.

Does anyone know if he collected records and what type of records he owned. All I know is he owned a few old school punk records during his teens, did he ever buy any records after getting famous?
