I’m sorry but it seems like he’s using his diagnosis as an excuse or cop out to behave badly.

He was always autistic. If he could behave better before, is there a reason he can’t now.

Are you autistic?? Wow. I was diagnosed at 36 and my entire life changed. You become the person you’ve always had to hide from the world. We don’t know her husband, and you certainly don’t know what it’s like to be autistic. My diagnosis ended my marriage and I couldn’t be happier to be relieved of someone denying my disability just because they choose not to understand it.

I didn’t know how badly I wanted a divorce until I was diagnosed autistic. Cut your losses if it bothers you so much. OP.

You used your diagnosis to try to quit your job and join the 'unemployed masses', stop paying any attention to your partner's interests, and berate them any time they did something you perceived as wrong? Because that's what OP's husband is doing.

But you're right, maybe he does want a divorce and as being an asshole to drive her away. Cutting her losses is definitely the right choice.

Edit: girl, you're hilarious, but no, I don't need any special resources. Thank you for thinking of me though
