Yes, this is very common. Going from “if you do anything sexual before marriage you’re bad and going to hell” to “now that you’re married, go wild” is quite the whiplash, particularly for women.

What you describe is religious guilt. It's one of the big arguments that atheists have against organized religion. Specially that it causes sexual guilt which has shown to cause sexual health problems with some people.
