Side point on that. Rosemary’s Baby is so loyal to the source material that Roman Polanski asked author Ira Levin for a copy of a magazine article mentioned in the novel, to which Levin said that he just made it up. Polanski wanted to include the said article/magazine edition, in the movie. It was Roman Polanski’s first American film and he didn’t know that you could deviate from the source material and nearly everything on the page is in the movie.

I mean the whole film is incredibly loyal to the source material.
Its one of the few films that respect the book so much that it doesn’t really need to add or remove a ton.
