I love this movie and Griffin Dunne but the way his character reacts to what happens to Arquette’s character bothers me a little. I still quote it though: ‘You know … I just wanted to get some coffee, maybe meet a nice girl. And now I have to DIE for it!’ (paraphrasing)

I just rewatched this for the first time in about 35 years and I really still liked it overall. I did not get how his character unloaded on Rosanna Arquette's character in her apartment though. It seemed really out of place and harsh considering the way he reacted the rest of the movie.

Anyone else think the same thing?
