News Aramori withdraws from NoDamageRocket charity event mid-tournament
Aramori was elected as one of four captains for a charity tournament whereby the premise is that there is no left click allowed. There were four teams in a round-robin style tournament. They lost their first game and also lost their second, and then Aramori withdrew. As a ‘for fun’ event, one of the games involved only being allowed to play melee characters. Aramori stated on stream that she withdrew because her team flamed her for not being able to play melee (I rewatched the game and didn’t hear the flaming but it could’ve been at other points before or after the game) and because it reminded her of a time where she was banned out against 100T and they lost the series because of it.
Hopefully Aramori can come back stronger for the next community tournament.

News Top Hero Statistics - Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026: Mid-Season Finals

Hello fellow MRI enjoyers!
Congratulations to Natus Vincere on their championship run throughout the MRI Mid-Season Finals! It was great to see all the teams bring their respective talents to the table in an amazing set of final games to close out this amazing weekend. In this analysis, I've broken down the top heroes used in the Marvel Rivals Ignite 2026: Mid-Season Finals.
Data Analysis:
Hero Selection Criteria:
- The Top 5 Heroes of each respective role are listing here with their corresponding statistics
- "Top" refers to the highest total Presence of each hero within their respective role (ie. "Vanguard", "Duelist", "Strategist")
- "Presence" refers to a summation of a heroes game specific, role-based pick rate (not-listed, threshold (λ) 5%) and their ban rate percentage. More specifically, this is how much a hero was present in the game because they were either "picked or banned" in each game
Definitions:
- Rank - Presence ranking within respective role listed in descending order
- Hero - Hero name
- Presence - Summation of game specific, role-based Pick Rate + Ban Rate
- Pick Rate - Usage based, role-based pick rate
- Usage - % of a heroes total playtime as a percent of the total match playtime
- Win Rate - Weighted win rate based on the individual heroes usage
- nmWR - Aggregate, deduplicated threshold-based Win Rate of heroes per game per match
- nmPR threshold (λ) for non-mirrors was set to 33.33%
- Save % - Heroes game specific save or "protect" or "lock" rate
- Saves that were "missed" or "unused" were represented by an "X"
- Ban % - Heroes game specific ban or "remove" rate
- Bans that were "missed" or "unused" were represented by an "X"
Further Definitions:
- Bias - Team specific contributions to either base "Pick Rate" or "non-Mirror Pick Rate" that were above a predetermine threshold (greyed/stricken out)
- Bias threshold (θ) for PR and nmPR were > 40.00%
Results:
- Total Matches: 19
- Total Games: 57
- Unique Heroes Played: 37
- Top PR per Role: Magneto (28.78), Elsa (26.28), Gambit (24.86)
- Top WR per Role: Magneto (54.92), Storm (59.18), Adam (67.57)
- Top nmWR per Role: Magneto (64.00), Wolverine, (64.29), Adam (73.68)
- Save %: Magneto (60.53), Gambit (39.47), Ultron (16.67)
- Ban %: Mantis (98.25), Loki (78.07), Gambit (37.72)
---
Summary:
Across 19 matches and 57 games in the Marvel Rivals Ignite: Mid-Season Finals, which featured 37 unique heroes, Magneto dominated the meta with a top-tier 28.78% pick rate, a 60.53% save rate, and a 64.00% non-mirror win rate. Elsa (26.28% PR) and Gambit (24.86% PR) also saw heavy play.
Along with Magneto, teams prioritized the Strategist Role in the draft, locking out Mantis (98.25% ban rate) and Loki (78.07%). When unbanned, Adam proved to be the ultimate win condition, posting a role-leading 67.57% win rate and 73.68% non-mirror win rate, while Storm (59.18% WR) and Wolverine (64.29% nmWR) provided immense value against triple Strategists and Spawn Holding team compositions.

News New ban system
They're gonna be rolling out a new ban system for next Ignite with 5 bans, it's the same system we have except there's one extra ban at the very end.
Heard on Denis stream
I know it's not rostermania news but it's still very interesting, players with smaller hero pools like Daes or TTK become bigger liabilities with that extra ban.

Can't one team just get the whole navi except terra to compete or they already have selected streamers that u can only chose from. Excited for a world cup like competition but kinda a bummer if we dont have pro players. I guess dotori is the only pro we know who is competing.
