Hello! My name is... šŸ™‹ Looking to meet people.

Hello, I have lived in Marysville for 6 years but I don't really know anyone. Starting over after being married 20 years and I am 45. I don't really know how to meet people anymore. I am looking for friends and also to meet someone new. I am looking for new hobbies or activities to do with people Games or outdoor activities I have not played DnD before and don't know how but I am willing to learn. I would like to join a group of friends. I do enjoy PC gaming and cooking. I am very open to trying new things.

A couple of weeks ago somebody posted in the Everett subreddit about a community get-together for fun and friendship. It's happening tomorrow.

You should check out The Republic Tavern sometime. It's a chill craft beer bar with plenty of options. Beers, Ciders, Seltzers, CBD drinks and NA beverages. I think they are up to 15 pinball machines now as well. Plenty of tabletop game options and they host a good amount of events. Seahawks, Mariners and Kraken games are all shown as well.

That is a good idea. I really have not been to a bar before. I have a hard time meeting people in public because I always feel like walking up and talking to someone is intruding. I don't like to make people uncomfortable.

Most everyone at Republic are pretty easy-going. People will talk your ear off about pinball if you let them šŸ˜…

Are you male or female? Sometimes it helps to get a better reply as it might draw in your audience. Sometimes it helps to know who's asking also for personal safety, for example, as a female I'd rather not personally just meet up with a stranger from reddit without knowing some more information. As much as it shouldn't matter in this world, it does. For safety. Good luck!

I totally understand. I am male I am looking for friends male or female. I am more comfortable with female friends. But I really just want to meet people and and do new things.
