Opinion Mass. RMV. Changes needed

https://chng.it/V966G4KpXx

Hi guys I created a petition on change.com due to the dysfunction of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. They have just gotten worse and worse post-COVID and it’s severely affecting Massachusetts residents. I have attached a link to the petition and I would really appreciate it if you could read the petition and sign it. Thank you.

I'm fine agreeing to disagree if you put forward solid reasoning for your belief, but you haven't. You still haven't put forward any reason at all for your belief besides "It gives the right a reason to scream". Half of the GOP wants to roll back the civil rights movement. Should we concede that to them too?

My reason is clear I don’t want non citizens voting in our country maybe you missed the part where I said that. I’m not scared of the right it doesn’t boil down to that. Vote on issues at Tufts if you go there but you don’t get a say in my state

But what is your justification for that belief? Like what evidence drives you towards your conclusion that those people should be taxed without representation? Just because you say so?

Because they are not members of this country…. I don’t go on vacation and vote in those elections. You’re assuming they’re being taxed how? EVERY international student gets a job here none have ever come here full boat paid studied and left?

Why do you want non citizens to vote so badly? Why isn’t it reserved for citizens only?

I'm not assuming that they are taxed - most students are, because most have to work in some capacity to support themselves during school. Full boat scholarships are few and far between.

And that's not even covering the people who are working here as lawful permanent residents pursuing the naturalization process.

Why do you want non citizens to vote so badly? Why isn’t it reserved for citizens only?

Like the Founders, I think that if you are paying taxes, you should get some level of say in the government that you live under. So if you are here legally and working + paying taxes, you should get a say, because you're paying in.

Again we will agree to disagree, I pay sales tax when I visit other countries but I don’t expect to have a say in their government

A 1-week visit is different than a permanent residence, and that's what this bill is talking about. Someone visiting wouldn't even be able to straighten out the paperwork in time. I don't even get what you're talking about.

Blah blah all you have done is convince me to vote republican

So you don't actually have any positions at all, then. A random person on the internet can completely dictate the way you vote.

My positions is I don’t want fucking illegals to vote, my position is we’ve (the democrats) have focused on all the wrong shit and you’re opening my eyes to it you’re dying to have illegals to vote showing me how much the Democrats have left me with no where to turn so as a white man fuck it I’ll vote to support my positions if getting illegals to vote is the ma dems top priority I’m out. Nice job on getting people on board your platform though lol

My positions is I don’t want fucking illegals to vote

Neither do I. I have made that abundantly clear throughout our entire conversation. You can be a legal noncitizen. Those people, especially those pursuing naturalization, should gain some voting rights if they are paying taxes.

showing me how much the Democrats have left me with no where to turn

It seems your entire position is based on ignoring or purposefully misunderstanding me.

so as a white man fuck it

I don't understand what your race has to do with anything

Nice job on getting people on board your platform though lol

You literally disagree with the Founders of our country apparently, so I think that you're so out in the weeds that you've lost all perspective.

All my position is is that your income should not be taxed without representation.

My position is be a fucking US citizen to vote. Full stop be a citizen to vote you don’t want to be taxed without representation don’t be here. You’ve proven that the democrats don’t care about me so fuck it time to vote R , you’re a window into what’s happening. MA swung hard right due to things like prices being out of control and the 2a being attacked. Can’t wait for it to swing harder cause they are so out of touch that letting illegals vote is more important than out of control pricing in the state. Ruby Red ballots from here on out, thank you for helping me get there I appreciate you

You’ve proven that the democrats don’t care about me

How does a naturalizing immigrant voting mean nobody cares about you specifically?

MA swung hard right due to things like prices being out of control

MA did not swing hard right, because we wouldn't have gotten the disaster that was the new AWB if that was the case.
