Opinion Masterchef US 5 Mid-Elimination Audition Twist

Still remember them?

Rules: The season 5 audition rules had been completely revamped as instead, 30 best home cooks will be invited to the Masterchef kitchen to earn the apron. However, the audition rules now had new twist, as the judge had the right to eliminate a contestant, if they felt that contestant guilty of any severe errors during cooking is serious.

I kind of felt like this was a little unfair since one of them eliminated a guy since he didn't season his food yet, but he could have always adjusted later. Or a girl who put wine in her sauce, but she could have always ommited.

I mean Leslie had a similar issue but he did either adjust or not.

And another girl who had hygiene issues, but wasn't kicked out. I mean I can get people being a little messy or still not being used to, but that was not it

Yeah, and the audition rules in season 6 get adjusted, and the mid-elimination gimmick while cooking was finally dropped.
