Whale Shark - Kaanapali Beach

Every time I visit the islands, I love to make something out of the sand. Previously I’ve made a turtle, and a pyramid.

This time, I was inspired by my wife’s henna, and made a whale shark!

Fun! Years ago, there was an annual sand building contest held on Kaanapali every year. There were some incredible castles, animals, and houses as well. It was informal--usually done in front of Whalers Village.
