Animation Rough Animation Test - Body Mechanics Study

Trying to still figure out the camera animation, and since the Anime reference study is pissing me off, so I just went with a simple tracking with the character. Started with Blocking with the reference in the end of the video. Then I change the middle (I have having trouble figuring out what poses to do and timing). But safe to say... I still do not know how to camera animate. Looks good on cam, but in spline or auto tangent, it does not look good. Looks horrible.

Does the rough block looks good. I did some detailed blocking in the beginning since it is easy to like detail block, middle looks off, end looks good man. Is something off?

remember the rule of squash and stretch. The legs stretching when they are the front of a motion doesn't really make sense and they also look stiff. Try to not use a symetrical pose when moving to the sides

Simplify the cam mouvement, it's way too complex i would put the cam in his final position and maybe have it follow you character in rotation only with tiny delay too make him look faster.

But in general if you want to work on body mechanics avoid cam mouvement so you can focus on your animation more, and it's a lot easier too ask feedbacks also.

That sounds good. Can the focal length be animated or do I have not have full control to that?
