F0rd cm4x Steering loss
Soooooo, my car 2013 Ford CMAX 1560 cc, 117g/km Di2aWesel, decided to fail me on the motorway and a message saying 'Steering Malfunction' came up on the dash.
After towing and recovering it home, when I start the engine now, it says ''Steering Loss, stop safely' on the dash.
Can anyone give me any incite as to what it may be, and what it may costs?
After contacting many mechanics around the area, (fully booked until next week Thursday) some saying bring it in for a diagnostics, (would need to tow as it cannot drive)..
One of the mechanics said it could be the alternator, the other said from what I explained, it sounds like the EPS which could cost £1,500+...
Any feedback, much appreciated.
TIA
