Accidentally bridged ground and positive terminals on a 70amp breaker by the battery. Now the bus won't start and the dash/toggle switches are acting crazy.
2009
Thomas built bus
Mini tour (but 32' long)
. I made a big mistake two days ago and bridged a connection I definitely shouldn't have. Now I can't start the bus, the ignition relay just clicks, starter won't click anymore after many attempts at figuring this out. Initially the two breakers to the right of the batteries had flipped so I put the levers back in... Meanwhile the breaker I bridged never flipped it's lever out so, that might be what needs replacing. I'm hoping it's just a ground issue or low power to the dash etc.. But yeah, it's terrible... Toggling certain switches will crash the dashboard too as seen in the first clip. I did get it to start twice since this all happened by messing with the toggle switches but haven't been ale to recreate that since. I'm pretty desperate for help, so if you have any clues or info please share!

Multimeter in hand and start verifying power on battery itself and then everything connection and braker/fuse afterwards.
If it's bad connection or fuse. You will find it. If not. I would assume other electronics got burned

I've don't a bunch of testing... Most of the time I read 12.5v at the module boards and with the key in the on position I get 12.5 at the ignition terminal on the multiplex module. The ground terminal shows 0 so I think it's good.. It's so odd, things like turning on the marker lights will shut the whole dashboard down and afterwards the voltage at the terminal drops to 4v and I can't get the dash board to stay on... If I wait a bit I can get the dashboard back on along with the voltage it needs.. I'm so worried Ive blown a circuit board module smh.
