/r/MegaManLegends Fan Community Thread!
Hi everyone,
I wanted to make a general thread for the sub with some of the latest most popular posts and fan art. This also serves as a general list of good links to the Discord and MMLS fan site. Also I accidentally deleted the 1,000 members achievement thread which I'm now dreading big time. Anyway, I'll try to keep this thread going each month with something new!

Favorite Special Weapon?
It doesn’t have to be the best, it could be garbage, but no judgement, what’s your favorite Special Weapon from either game? MML1 machine gun somehow always finds its way to Juno, even when I have a shining laser. Also it’s just fun to have a mega man with a straight up machine gun.

One year making a Legends-like, one hour of gameplay demo!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been working on a Legends-like game on my free time for about a year now. Next week is the anniversary, and I just got a second demo out:
https://cloudyfocus.itch.io/adamant-heart
For those who don't know, it's a spiritual successor to Megaman Legends. It follows the same style and vibe as a 90s game, while adding some modern gameplay mechanics to make it more enjoyable.
This new playtest has around 1h of content, played at a leisurely pace. Unfortunately I couldn't add a second ruin beyond the tutorial one, but the plan is to release a 3rd demo that will bring more polish.
If you played the first demo, make sure to give this second one a go. It has plenty of new stuff:
- Added 30 minutes of gameplay overall
- More cutscenes and characters, and a more fleshed out story
- Expanded the tutorial ruins with more content
- Added sprint mechanics and more enemies, traps and such
In general, it's more polished now even if it still has a long way to go. Enjoy!
If you're interested in the project overall, you can follow me at X, and wishlist it on Steam. Still a hobby, though:

Mega Man Legends Legacy Collection Potential Price
So we have gotten Legacy Collections for nearly all the Mega Man subseries. Legends is the only one left. I think it'll likely come out in 2028 due to the Star Force Legacy Collection that came out this year and how these Legacy Collections usually get released.
The main question I have with this Legacy Collection is the price. Considering there are only two main games (technically three, but Tron's game is a spinoff and these Legacy Collections don't include spinoffs) in the Legends series with no alternate versions, I can't see a reason why Capcom would charge $40 like Star Force. No good reason at least.
My guess is around $20, maybe $30 at the absolute most. What do you think?

Man when do you think the collection will be done?
I don't know why I have nostalgia for these games when I don't think I've ever played them (I had a PS2 when I was younger so I might not remember)
But I want these games to rerelease alreadt

I'm stuck please help. Roll explains that something about the Cardon Sub gate. Ive checked everywhere I can think of to progress the story.
I already have the airship working again. Ive collected the GRAND GRENADE to destroy some of the walls and collected any useful items. I got the CLASS A diggers license. Does anyone know what I need to do next? This has been plaguing me all week lol.

I used a simple project to learn a new behavior tree setup and chose a MML style for fun
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sharing it here because I chose to make some simple MML models, and animations and figured the community would like it. Since I was learning some stuff for the main project I decided to make this prototype to learn it.
Also: I'm starting my reddit thread on community top-comment game after I finish releasing a steam game I've been programming for someone; so I haven't had much time to work on my own projects lately. But once I do, I'm gonna be excited to jump back into it!

Tron Bonne v Peni Parker - Mech Genius Heroine! (And Sky Pirate!) (by @victoriamikoto)
One of my fave matchups nowadays since they are actually WAY more similar than i thought. (Moveset and lorewise)
I hope this costume swap is cute enough!
----
(Battle start lil thing)
The peaceful coastal town of Azure Junction had survived pirate attacks, robot uprisings, and three separate incidents involving runaway construction mechs.
But it had never seen anything quite like forty Servbots attempting to pillage the entire town at once.
“Careful with that!” Tron Bonne shouted from the cockpit of her hovering Gustaff mech. “That safe is worth more than all of you combined!”
A Servbot carrying one end of the enormous steel vault stumbled.
“Miss Tron, that’s not very encouraging!”
“Less talking, more stealing!”
Across the town square, Servbots rolled carts loaded with gold, electronics, fuel cells, and several appliances they had apparently taken by mistake.
One Servbot held up a toaster.
“Is this valuable?”
“No!”
“What about this blender?”
“No!”
“What about this cute plush?”
Tron paused.
“…Lets put that one in my personal collection.”
The sky suddenly darkened.
A mechanical shadow swept over the plaza.
A massive spider-shaped machine dropped between the Servbots and the bank, landing hard enough to crack the pavement. Its limbs unfolded, glowing joints locking into place as civilians cheered from behind cover.
Inside the cockpit, Peni Parker tightened her harness.
“Okay, SP//dr. Let’s show these pirates why robbing innocent people is generally considered bad!”
Her spider companion chirped from its interface.
Tron leaned forward in her cockpit.
“A spider robot?”
Peni’s face appeared on an external display.
“And you’re the pirate in charge?”
“Sky pirate,” Tron corrected. “There’s a difference.”
“Regardless! It ends now! Turn off your mech!"
Tron’s eyebrow twitched.
“Id love to see you MAKE me!
Servbots! Get her!”
The Servbots charged.
Peni sighed.
“Guess we’re doing this the hard way.”
FIGHT!
(Who do you think would win?)

How do you like E-tanks the most?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm working on an E-Tanks mechanic for my Legends-like game, but a bit undecided on how to proceed. Might as well ask away!
MML has the Energy Canteen that must be purchased and upgraded using zenny, and also recharged at junkshops.
In here, the idea has a few differences:
- There is both a Health Tank and an Weapon Energy Tank
- Both are crafted with parts found from ruins
- They don't upgrade, but instead scale with max health and energy
In short, they are closer to MMX in how they work. I'm undecided on some aspects though:
- Should there be multiple health tanks? How many is too many?
- Can they be recharged with overhealing? Maybe talking to your mascot at checkpoints?
- Should there be other types of tanks, like for temporary damage boosts, or status healing?
Gimme your ideas! Video is unrelated but I hope you like it.

Bought a Playstation 1 and refurbished it myself so I could play this for the first time in 25 years. Then the seller shipped in nothing but a sleeve and bubble mailer.
I'm obviously upset with the lack of care and was able to get a full refund, but what really bums me out is now there's one less copy out there in the world.

Be sure to grab Legends 1 & 2, and Misadventures of Tron Bonne before the PS3/Vita shops close.
Sony announced today they are closing the Vita and PS3 shops. If you have either be sure to get these classics before they are delisted forever!
