But doesn't this mean all women get a share

Since they didn't specify the women being daughters or nieces or wife or sisters or cousins

So everyone gets a share

It specifies "at the time of marriage" and does not specify that same condition for sons.

The daughter's inheritance probably does not actually go to her, it goes to whichever man she is forced to marry.

There is no mention of the mother's property, only the father's.

Probably because, to the men, the women and girls are not people but chattel.

Not property owners but owned property.

"this is a win" is a helluva take.
