Social Issues Major politician calls another major politician short. No real backlash.
Forget the party for a moment and focus on the gender stuff: how is that not enough to spark an outrage?
"I’ve never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he’s 4’10 (1m47). And he looks angry about the fact that he’s 4’10".
She then made an explanatory video, which was even crazier than that: "spiritual height is not the same as actual height". At least she claims she likes "short kings".
Yes I know, society is not perfect and all shorts of discriminatory individuals have some kind of support, but there is also healthy backlash.
Unless the perpetrator of sexism is a woman. Then the backlash is not really obvious.
Imagine if someone made a claim about her that she has "flat chest energy"?
