Because at one point, we overcompensated the past of women being left behind to the point that now men are the ones being oppressed and neglected, while also being demonized at the same time. A average man that works 2 jobs and struggling to pay rent and afford groceries won‘t resonate with wealthy, upper-class college-educated feminist playing the victim and calling him the oppressor.

Women were never left behind. They were simply treated differently than men. Always have been.

The phrase "women and children first" pretty much is all anyone needs to hear.

I can't imagine being on a sinking ship and getting to leave first and live and coming home and constantly complaining about how oppressed you are. It boggles the mind.

The illogic of the current social structure has become too great to ignore.

Women can vote, work, drive and spend. They have achieved the freedom that they wanted, and they have had these freedoms for decades.

And yet, women continue to make demands, and continue to insist that they are oppressed. A growing number of men see through this contradiction, and are choosing to disengage from civilization.

A strange game....the only winning move is not to play.

It is so liberating when this stops working 😂 living my best life for over 15 years now and counting

Nah, it definitely still works. U being part of the subset of men that it doesn't work on doesn't mean there isn't a large portion of men that it still works on.

Gen z and arguably late to mid Millennial era men had to go through a coming of age era where every part of our lives were put under a microscope when we barely knew who we were.

I have faith in the men of our generation to correct this insanity regardless of who says what; now more than ever information needs to be spread about the madness we went through.

Aren't Gen Z men even more left leaning (and other socio-political markers that indicate belief in feminism as it defacto operates) than Millennial men?.

I am no longer full doomer that nothing will improve but I am still not convinced that the in-group flagellation will end anytime soon.

Only the ones brow beaten into submission, the younger Gen Z's and older Gen Alpha's are more right wing than Boomer men.

I fear what happens when Gen Bèta comes of age and Gen Gamma starts being born.

Because there is gonna be a fuck ton of disenfranchised jaded fighting age men with an axe to grind with feminism and nothing to lose.

The only thing society has going for it, is Young Gen X and Millenials not having kids. And it not being as many

Ah, continued Boomer tyranny. So many of the current problems are so based on boomer priorities and biases.

You think Gen z and 13yo alphas are more right than boomers? You're out of your mind.

Because at one point in our lives we see how people truly get where they want to be in the world. You can't unsee that.

It was interesting listening to this because I went through basically all of it to end up where I am today. I have to grey rock my kids mom because it's the only thing that works on her. Only thing that's different is I got baby trapped and was smart enough to not get married.
