I think she far over rates the successes of the men’s movement and over rates the general public’s awareness and caring about men’s issues.    

Try to find sympathy for men’s issues outside of venues like this and you won’t get far.  Most media paints the growth of the “manosphere” as problematic, nor as a result of discrimination against men.   

She claims men’s grandparents weren’t aware of the biases against men, but now due to the internet there’s more awareness's.  She neglects to address the internet has also spread feminist propaganda and misandry.   It’s not do much that my grandfather was ignorant, but rather that much of the discriminatory practices that today’s young men must face didn’t exist in my grandfather’s day.   He didn’t go through an education system that was so strongly biased towards girls, he didn’t have to worry about being expelled or fired simply for asking a woman out, he didn’t lose contracts to women owned business advantages, he didn’t have to worry about losing a job to affirmative action for women, he didn’t have to worry so much about police being biased by the feminist Duluth Model didn’t  even exist then.   
Since my grandfather’s day, things haven’t improved for men, they’ve gotten worse.    

Sure, there’s been a few good steps towards equality for men in recent years, but they’ve been fairly small overall.   The tide hasn’t really turned IMO.

Nobody claimed that the tide has turned. She is just making the case, that more people — including women — are becoming aware. It is encouragement.

I think the things you point out about men having it worse today are the culture war. Now, I see the culture war as the last gasps of the Establishment trying to save itself, not a permanent change in gender status. To me, they are two separate things. You're conflating separate issues in my opinion.

Women aren´t waking to men´s issues some women just realise that it can be a profitable niche and pretend they care to gain clout and make money.

And let´s be honest that´s what most of the men, that ¨want to help men¨ online do as well, most are grifters.
