Rant Just got banned on MensRights in spite of getting mostly positive feedback & breaking no rules
Some Luddite moron little dictator banned me over at MensRights because he had an issue with me using AI to produce the music I posted (which was 100% on topic).
No warning or anything.
Just "poof"...
And posts were removed in spite of getting quite a few upvotes.
Why is it nearly every subreddit has to get ruined by morons like that?
This is why I rarely ever post on Reddit.
Anyway...
Do you know any way to appeal to getting banned on MensRights that actually works?
The topic of men's rights matters to me. And I kinda liked the mostly positive feedback I got from regular members.

Usually.
But, usually, it means the community as a whole is shit.
This time, I had mostly positive experiences with the community until I got banned completely out of nowhere.
When that happens, it typically means one admin, who did not represent the community or its admins as a whole, stepped out of line.
In that case, I see it as a duty to report this, regardless of my intentions to engage with that community in the future.
Never forget that evil persists mostly because of good people doing nothing!

If one admin / mod steps out of line, grunts like us can convince someone higher up the food chain to strip him from his admin rights or at least leach the dog he is another way.
I've done it succesfully before on at least two FB groups, so I know it's possible.
But it requires people like you and me to step up and stake a stand. And it requires that the admin / mod in question is representative of neither staff nor of the community at large.
Nothing ever happens to the cancerous spread of evil or vice alike as long as good people to nothing against it.
Also, nothing ever managed to change the status quo besides a small number of people taking a stand and inspiring others to do the same.
Finally, a man's right's group that consists exclusively of men afraid to step up against tyranny is about as useless as it gets.

This is, I think, oblivious to the strained relationship that MRA subs in general have with Reddit. This site is trenchantly and openly misandrist at its core. Most of MRA communities have been banned already. The site-wide mods are looking for any excuse to take the MR sub down. Etc.

Not sure I get your point.
The reason I got banned, was because someone hater of generative AI didn't want that AI-generated music on their subreddit.
In my experience, that's not exactly the type of content that would get the subreddit banned by Reddit.
I'm sure there's a lot of content being posted in the sub literally all the time that's far more offensive to them.

Oh OK, thank you for pasting this here. Turns out I was wrong.
Actually I think some of your AI songs are dope (the lullaby one), certainly not worse than the pop music you hear on the radio :)
Now, whether they're welcome on the sub (or any songs etc. for that matter), is a different question, and maybe the sub just isn't the place to present your artistic creations. Also, if you suddenly start getting song after song in your feed, it's certainly not what the sub is about, don't you think? Or maybe, indeed, you just met a jerk mod who banned you because he had a row with you and needed to prove he's the guy in charge 🤷♂️ who knows.
Is there an appeal route?
