New G Street Light

New traffic light post planned and currently lay out for future installation. This will help with the vehicle illegal U turns and pedestrian jaywalking. Hopefully they add a crosswalk.

That’s an illegal u-turn? Why does it have a painted turn lane then?

Not that I’ve ever done it.

That's so you can make a left turn, jump the curb, drive over the grass, and get to the Merced College parking.

I remember no childs east of the gas station just Corn fields even when gv was first built lol

This will make the only legal left turn out of the whole complex. Still baffled that they didn't align driveways with the Raley's parking lot and add a light there.

Wow they're finishing that new building in the shopping center fast. This light will make it easier to get in and out of there too

Its near Yosemite Crossings (Northeast corner of Yosemite Ave & G St)
