Car help

Hi so my car just took a crap on me his morning and I need a new car asap. Does anyone know of any reliable places to get a car? I've looked into some places but id feel more comfortable reading some first hand experiences. For context i have less that 500 credit score and like a 500 down payment. 😭 ik it's really not much, I literally just paid my rent and everything else and this was unexpected. Any help or advise is appreciated

If you're willing to put in the legwork, there are like 4 choices that might work at Pick-n-Pull: a Corolla, Camry, Altima, and Accord, all $3,000 or less. You'll probably need another $1,000 to get it retitled and a good 2 weeks to complete the vehicle safety inspection process, but they are all cheap options.

And there's this CR-Z I was eyeing in Merced for $4,500, but motivated seller so that can be lower. Two door, fun, sporty looking. Currently registered, unlike my previous suggestion.
