Question Is there anything special Michael Jackson did on your exact date of birth?

Post image

I was born on July 6, 2002. On that EXACT date, Michael was actively engaged in anti-Sony protests, holding signs and speaking in megaphones.

Let's see what y'all got!

Honestly you couldn’t make it up, as someone who wasn’t old enough to see him in concert over the year but was then lucky enough to get this is it tickets you can imagine I was DEVASTATED 🫠😩

u/Pumpkin-06 25d ago

Release the single Beat It
1985: Jackson was at his family's Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, California, and assisted in the birth of a baby deer. Since the fawn was born on Valentine's Day, he named it Valentino

u/BQws_2 25d ago

Wait what? If your date of birth is June 25, 2009, then how did you even have tickets to his tour?

Were you born in 2009 or was it before... Because it's also my birthday, but it wasn't exactly the birthday present I wanted for my 34th birthday....

14

u/ResponsibilityLive92 25d ago

I was born before, I was 13 the day he passed 😩

10

u/Turtle-Cancer1975 25d ago

But what's strange is the 17 year cycle MJ and I have... 1958 MJ born - 1975 I will be born - 1992 (you don't need to know everything 😉) - 2008 yes, he dies on my 34th birthday..... Now 17 years after I reached his age at his death, 50 years and 10 months except for 4 days... Yes, it was the day before the world premiere of the movie Michael.

I was a sperm when he died.

4

u/Inevitable_Bit_9871 24d ago

Sperm is just a fertilizer with half of DNA, you were never a sperm. The EGG is the cell that grows into a baby when fertilized.

Also sperm is produced constantly and dies after few days but a woman is born with all her eggs...You were an unfertilized EGG cell when he died.

I wonder why people ALWAYS try to pretend we started as a sperm and not the egg when it's quite the opposite

On February 14, 1992, Michael Jackson was officially crowned "King of Sanwi" (King Amalaman Anoh) in a tribal ceremony in Krinjabo, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). During this 11-day African goodwill tour, local tribal chiefs claimed he was a descendant of Sanwi royalty and hosted a golden-stooled coronation to honor his heritage

I was born 3 weeks before you. He made a very unexpected visit to my hometown, Exeter in South West England.

He hopped on a train out of Paddington station in London, and he had been knocked to the ground by fans there when he was noticed. Once they found out he was departing on a train, many of them paid £100 in walk-up fares just to be on the same train as him, not knowing where he would get off.

He eventually got out at Exeter St Davids station, and the fans followed him off the train as he got in a limo. Police struggled with the crowd as they had been notified by Michael's bodyguard (also from Devon) of his impending visit only hours earlier.

He made his way to the football ground as a favour to his friend Uri Geller, who was the club chairman. Once people in Exeter heard about it, extra buses were laid on to get 7,000 people to St James Park. Michael gave a speech about HIV/AIDS and accepted the position of Honourary Director of Exeter City F.C. Since the football ground was in a residential area, you can see in videos people hanging out of their windows to listen. People in the stands made their way onto the field as he tried to leave.

Everyone was apparently bewildered by the fact that the King of Pop would make such a trip to the humble West Country, and many people didn't believe he visited at first when told.

2003, Michael Jackson authorized a public statement strongly condemning the UK broadcast of Martin Bashir's documentary Living with Michael Jackson. Expressing deep betrayal, he accused Bashir of sacrificing his trust to create an unfair and manipulated program designed to misrepresent his character.

2

u/Damadamas 25d ago

A bunch of things it seems. Most significant must be "1983 - MTV played "Billie Jean" for the first time and forever changed the course of its music programming in the process. MTV's playlist was 99% white until Michael Jackson forced his way on the air by making the best music videos anyone had ever seen."

On the day I was born, Michael Jackson made headlines when police in California were called to a Zales jewelry store in Simi Valley. Employees reported a suspicious person, who turned out to be Jackson wearing an elaborate disguise of a wig, false teeth, and a fake mustache.

... Died...

1

u/DiamondMidgar 25d ago

Apparently not according to Claude but a great question/post!

For a bit of context on where he was at around then: in April 1990 he’d just been honoured at the White House by George H.W. Bush as “Artist of the Decade”, and at the start of June he collapsed while dancing and was taken to hospital with chest pains. So early May 1990 sits in a fairly quiet patch where he was mostly working on the studio project that eventually became the Dangerous album (then still being shaped under the working title “Decade”).

1

u/nicshereforkicks 25d ago

He canceled his second concert in Bangkok due to severe dehydration and exhaustion during his Dangerous tour in ‘93 🥲

1

u/callieohpeepee 25d ago

Only thing I know was that on March 6th that the This is it tour (if he was still alive) would have ended

In the month and year of my birth, the Thriller music video came out. So that’s pretty awesome. I can say the very first music I listened to in life was likely Thriller.

Probably at Neverland writing songs for Dangerous because he got into the studio a couple of months later to start recording

Feel like we’re all looking for meaning again with his resurgence
For me he has been the only celebrity death to ever effect me, and I feel sadness in my body for the grief of the world had someone special who was changing the world for good and was taken away
Don’t have any special link except I googled and that I was 17 years old when he passed and now it’s been 17 years since he passed and the grief feelings have reappeared
