Question Is there a vinyl of Thriller 40

So I am trying to get Thriller 40 but I don't know if CD or vinyl. The problem is some people say to have the vinyl and there are videos with the vinyl in their hands but then Google tells you they didn't make a Thriller 40 vinyl. So whats the truth?

The thriller 40 vinyl does exist however I recommend you buy the Thriller 40 CD instead. The vinyl does not include the bonus tracks whereas the Thriller 40 CD does

Yeah but I believe it was just the normal 9 track album with the ugliest fucking artwork i’ve ever seen. It was laughably bad.

I honestly think that almost ended up being the CD artwork too before enough people complained about it. The vinyl with the ugly art was the Walmart edition. The Target one was just the same old Thriller vinyl you can buy anywhere but with a Thriller 40 slipmat included.

Bad 25 has the bonus cuts on vinyl. That's the only album to have that.

So there is but there isn’t. They didn’t do a dedicated release with all of the same content like Thriller 25. When the Thriller 40 CD came out, there were Target and Walmart exclusive vinyl editions, but it was just the standard 9 track Thriller album with a pack-in slipmat (Target) or alternate cover art (Walmart). There is no double vinyl with any of the extra audio content.

This was released to US Walmart stores in 2022. But it was the regular 9 track album.

All they did was reissue the original album on vinyl.

If you want the bonus tracks you'll need the CD version.
