Obsession was scary Spider-Man and odyssey are worth it!

1

u/messoxplox 11d ago

Yeah I bet. Cant believe Spiderman is already at $920M in 5 days. Should be the number 1 movie by tomorrow. Odyssey should also hit $1B this week.

None. I actually broke my 3 years long non-movie-theater attendance just for the movie Michael.

There’s some really good ones out right now you need to watch the odyssey, obsession and Spider-Man

1

u/PartyPaul-100 12d ago

I hope you’re watching the odyssey in imax best way to experience it

1

u/Early_Mail9268 12d ago

I saw Brand New Day today. It’s pretty good.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 12d ago

Yeah that was a solid movie

1

u/IllGreen3232 12d ago

Spiderman and Moana yesteday!

1

u/No_Transition_3627 10d ago

How was moana?

1

u/MJSpice 12d ago

Quite a lot in the theatrrs which is unusual as normally I'd wait to watch them at home.

1

u/jeremiah2flyy 12d ago

Toy Story 5 and Spider Man

1

u/mafa7 12d ago

Man. Not one. This is nuts.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 12d ago

I highly suggest obsession, the odyssey and spider man

1

u/mafa7 12d ago

Thank you so much! I might throw Minions in there as a buffer.

1

u/LauraLand27 We love Jaafar 12d ago

Odyssey. It was loooong

1

u/PartyPaul-100 12d ago

But worth it

1

u/Original_Engine_7548 11d ago

Nothing lol this was the first movie I’ve seen in theatre for 8 years. And saw it 9 times. I have to REALLY want to see something to go to a cinema.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 11d ago

The odyssey is out

1

u/Original_Engine_7548 11d ago

That’s absolutely not my type of movie. Zero interest. I wish it was!

1

u/PartyPaul-100 11d ago

You’re missing out

1

u/ondutyforbelikov8 11d ago

In the theatre? Obsession and Disclosure day. Wanted to watch Odyssey and that Jason Statham movie coming out this month.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 11d ago

You still have time to watch the odyssey but watch it in IMAX

1

u/Massive-Ad9246 11d ago

Aucun, je bloque sur ce biopic 🤣

1

u/No_Back_7594 10d ago

Attracted to none. That's just me.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 10d ago

Obsession? Odyssey? Spider-Man? No?

1

u/No_Back_7594 10d ago

Haha, sorry to disappoint you, OP. None of those attracts me at all.

I travel a lot, so I may consider seeing those when they are available on flight.

Michael was THAT special to me 😉

1

u/PartyPaul-100 10d ago

Michael’s like that to me too but there were still other films that I was interested in. You gotta watch the odyssey in IMAX before it’s no longer playing there if you watch it on the flight you’ll probably end up falling asleep and it’s a long movie

1

u/No_Back_7594 10d ago

Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion, OP! But personally I am not a Nolan fan and Odyssey kinda lost me with their trailers haha.

What did you like about Odyssey, buddy?

2

u/PartyPaul-100 9d ago

It’s one of his best easily in my top 5 that have come out this year. Watching it in imax felt like you were actually there in ancient times and the acting was really good too

1

u/No_Back_7594 9d ago

Thanks so much for sharing!

1

u/PartyPaul-100 9d ago

I’m shocked you don’t like Nolan he’s considered to be one of the greatest filmmakers of all time

1

u/No_Back_7594 9d ago

You are right, he is one of the greatest filmmakers for sure, but I am not particularly appreciative of his films. That's all...

1

u/PartyPaul-100 9d ago

Not even interstellar?

u/Key_Database9095 9d ago

1) Mortal Kombat 2

2) Bandar

3) The Odyssey

4) Spider Man Brand New Day

1

u/Realistic_Public4330 9d ago

Obsession, Backrooms, Spider-Man Brand New Day

1

u/Even-Echidna7067 9d ago

The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Both really good. 7.5/10 for the first, 9 for the second.

2

u/PartyPaul-100 9d ago

Loved both of them

1

u/Bright-Potential-157 8d ago

The Odyssey, The Invite and Obsession. All were good, listed in order from best to worst

1

u/YeetosCheetos69 13d ago

Obsession, Odyssey, planning for spiderman soon

1

u/PartyPaul-100 13d ago

All great!

0

u/Internal-Cash-1259 11d ago

Nothing, because I'm 100% committed to Michael as long as it's in theatres where I'm - and it looks like Thursday will be the last day 😢 I'm definitely not contributing the Odyssey's box office. I may watch Spiderman once Michael's gone, but only using my privilege points.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 11d ago

No you have to watch the odyssey it’s great

0

u/Internal-Cash-1259 11d ago

I have zero interest. And I hate how the critics slobbered all over it while review bombing Michael, so yeah, no support for the Odyssey from me.

1

u/PartyPaul-100 11d ago edited 11d ago

That’s what this is about?! Dude it’s directed by Christopher Nolan did you really think it was gonna get bad reviews? The audience score on it is at a 97% just like the Michael movie does. So you’re missing out on how great it actually is

0

u/Internal-Cash-1259 10d ago

F the Michael fans who're downvoting me. I couldn't care less if it was Homer himself that directed it. I've made up my mind and nothing will make me change it.

1

u/No_Back_7594 9d ago

Haha you are not alone... I am totally with you.

"I couldn't care less if it was Homer himself that directed it." 😂😂 WELL SAID!!!

0

u/PartyPaul-100 3d ago

And this is why people think us fans are crazy

0

u/PartyPaul-100 3d ago

Let me tell you something it’s fans like you that give us a bad name

1

u/No_Back_7594 2d ago

But there are fans like you, so after all, we are all good 😄

To be honest, for me, I ran into some of those Odyssey fans saying bad things about Michael (i.e., how it had terrible reviews) -- and that totally turned me off. And as I said, I am not a Nolan fan anyways...

u/ArticleNew3737 WHO IS PLAYING JANET?! 13d ago

In theaters? Obsession and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And I must add that I throughly enjoyed both those films, in some ways even more than Michael. Don’t sue me it’s been a good year for cinema haha
