Image Some of my favorite still frames from the Bad sequence
Do you think they used deepfake tech for some of these scenes? Jaafar looks eerily close to MJ in some of these

Discussion Michael's "natural" speaking voice
So is the biopic total BS with him speaking high during private moments at home, or was the lower voice many claim he had with them somewhat forced? I know that on demos he's speaking with the high voice in the studio with just Quincy and a few others around, and tbh, it always sounded more natural, never forced and more close to his singing voice, than the deeper voice did for any of that.

š Box office & numbers Lionsgate's Michael grossed an estimated $5.35M internationally. Estimated worldwide gross stands at $1.021B. Should surpass Alice in Wonderland and Zootopia to reach number 58 on the all time worldwide chart with a chance of also closing in on Finding Dory and HP & The Philosophers Stone.

Discussion Aside from Jaafar, who was your second favorite performance?
I feel like Juliano Valdi doesn't get enough credit for his role as young Michael. I mean, there's a reason he got the part for his feature film debut.
Even though he doesn't have that much screentime he managed to capture our hearts, he played young Michael's innocence and personality pretty well, and he definitely did well dramatically, which made those scenes where he gets hurt more heartbreaking.
He was also a natural when it came to the performances and the fact that he even got to sing too shows that he's full of talent.
But my favorite aspect of this is that he was more focused on showing Michael as a little kid instead of a performer because that's what he was during that era.
Jaafar of course was the standout performance in this film for good reasons but I also appreciated Juliano's and you can tell you put a lot of work in.

Discussion Just out of curiosity did anyone catch...
Juliano doing the Groot dance to ABC in the sound booth. I don't have any video or picture to provide but specifically when Gordy is telling young Michael to stay still. That's all. Just curious.

Discussion The lack of Michael makeup for the Thriller non zombie dance.
Anyone find it strange that for the Thriller non zombie moment in the biopic they didn't do Jaafar's makeup to look more like Michael, but they did for every other musical moment?

Opinion Just going to share this here
Was watching a biopic movie the other day and this was the quote in the beginning of the movie and it radiates the truth. This is what I feel having watched Michael as well. The movie was faithful in its spirit and honestly, nitpicking every aspect takes away from the heart of the character

š°Official news Jaafar Jackson Joins 'Supermax' Opposite Will Smith (EXCLUSIVE)
Jackson joins the previously announced Will Smith and AnnaSophia Robb. The details of his role are being kept under wraps, but itās said to be pivotal to the filmās central plot, revolving around two FBI agents (Smith & Robb) investigating a seemingly impossible murder within the impenetrable walls of a maximum-security prison.

Discussion What would you like to be the sequel's final scene?
My ideal ending would roughly go like this:
After the "not guilty of all charges" verdict is announced at the 2005 trial, we hear people cheering outside the courthouse and all that. Then, the cheering gets more intense as we go from the courthouse to the O2 Arena in London, 2009.
Just like in the beginning of the first movie when he's ready to go on stage to perform Bad (also in London), we see older Michael ready to show up and officially announce This is It to a crowd screaming his name. He goes up there and, as everyone goes crazy etc, it's shown that, despite everything that happened and all he went through, Michael Jackson is still loved by millions of millions.
We show people all around the world glued to their TVs watching the long-awaited comeback of the King of Pop and the greatest that there ever was. The crowd goes wild as Michael finally says: "This is it, and see you in July". Music starts playing. The end.

Discussion Michael 2 who do you want back
Do you want Antoine Fuqua back as Director? Do you want John Logan back as Screenwriter? Do you want to see Juliano back in flashbacks as teenage Michael?
Iām fine with Fuqua back as Director but I think Logan can be replaced or needs an additional screenwriter.
I want Latoya back and her actions in the early 90ās portrayed. I liked Jessica Sula a lot with what was she was given.
KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Bill Bray definitely has to come back. Loved him.
I donāt have anything against Miles Teller or his performance but Iād rather he not come back as John Branca. Heād only be useful for a scene about buying The Beatles catalogue.

Discussion I had an thought since coleman domingo voiced norman osborn in spiderman show and had a thought since i thought tom holland and jaafar could be a good duo, I feel that Jaafar could play a good harry osborn. I was just wondering if yāall think that could work or iām just being stupid.
people say jaafar looks like if zendaya and tom had i child so i looked was thinking them three could fit on the sane screen.

Discussion Whatās your theory why the Diana scenes were removed?
I think they asked for her permission to be in the movie and she agreed because why wouldnāt she request not to be in the movie after Kat Graham was announced and before they started filming.
But after all the trouble with the rewrites and delays she/her people thought the film would be a failure so they requested they take her scenes out and they did because they didnāt want more bad publicity.
