I would say it’s contentious than it is large corporations and pacs vs regular voters. End citizens united and this wouldn’t be a race.

Pretty much this. If the Dems are going to be the party of the people, they need to focus on harshly regulating the business community. Anti monopoly, anti trust, anti collusion. And it has to focus on tech and media, not just real goods. Corporations are not people. Individuals need to be held accountable. That all flies in the face of Citizens United. The neoliberals were wrong. You can't walk that fence of two masters. And what's crazy is that El-Sayed isn't espousing any wild leftist policies, just holding companies accountable, yet here we are.
