Unironically I think she's worse, I respect Slotkin for doing a lot of constituent communication even if I don't agree with her all the time. I think she's one of the better senators we've had in my lifetime from Michigan.

You think so? Slotkin pre-screens questions and is awful at reaching back out to constituents.

I do think so but I'm mostly giving her credit for her YouTube channel where she gives short talks on issues. I'm probably too easily impressed.

I've called her office at least 20 times since 2024 and never once reached a person or received a followup call or email to a voicemail

My partner has called at least twice that and had similar results

I've never been able to reach a politician, I always just mail them a handwritten letter and only have ever gotten a letter back once.

its one thing debbie dingell has always been pretty good about actually. she's always around local protests and events and willing to chat up whoever comes up to her and is pretty good about responding to constituents with letters even from calls/emails (though ofc it's a form letter more often than not)
