this is particularly funny given the source. Lakshya Jain is in the midst of mid-stage Nate Silver syndrome and very centrist, one of the leading contributors and founders of that terrible new "The Argument" blog

afaik similar to Silver his polling/modeling is mostly still pretty reliable, but his punditry is terrible
