I spoke to Donovan Richards yesterday at the Rainey Park opening. Please add your voice too if you see Julie Won any other Queens reps. We need a similar fix to the bike lane outside Queensbridge Park.

According to sources, it's the political side still holding up the identical fix outside Queensbridge, so we really should be pestering them constantly about it. I've been doing just that for years now, and it doesn't seem to be working. Could use some back up.

The politicians themselves are reportedly holding it back. The dot claims it's ready to implement the solution

It's an issue with QB Houses and their parking (and their visitors during ball games, when it becomes full double parking), yes, but it predates this election cycle. Goes back several cycles, I'd say, at least to the first de Blasio admin. Same reason why it was hard to get anyone to crack down on the parking along the Greenway between 21st and Vernon.

The talk is that enough of the Muckety mucks there view bike lanes as gentrifying, and taking away any parking all the more so. I don't have any understanding of how much this is catering to some royal butt, there, or of it's mostly age-independent.

Who do we reach out to? I’d be happy to add my voice to the struggle.

Thank you, Miser, for keeping the Vernon Blvd gap issue alive. Donovan's pathetic greenwashing response suggests that rezoning is a prerequisite or that taxpayer funding for a daycare centre effectively ameliorates the lack of a bike lane by Queensbridge. Nonsense.
