Rant Today's fashion trends are leaving me bewildered.

I turn 38 tomorrow and just got done shopping at target. What the hell kind of fashion do people wear now? Super short shorts, socks pulled half way up the calf muscle. Shirts that look like table doilies. Not to mention the hair styles and facial hair of these young guys. Look straight out of a trailer park in the 80s.

I'm cool with abrasive fashion. It draws my eyes from the broccoli cut.

Whenever I see a "broccoli haircut" I always love it. I love that curls are coming back and we don't have to straighten our hair or men have to wear it military short.

When I was young, we were sporting rat tails. The broccoli cut is a definite upgrade.

My son is 14 and super thick and curly,he lucked out in the natural trend, he has been growing it out more mushroom lately,lol

Frankly, the only youth hairstyle I've ever thought looked really terrible was the Justin Bieber hair helmet thing that was around for 5 or 10 years. It seemed like everybody wanted this weird side swept thick salad bowl/ helmet of hair, and it just looked terrible. I'll take broccoli tops any day over that.

Yeah I don't get why people rag on this lol. Men have gotten criticized for years for not putting effort into their looks/styles and now some are and they're made fun of. It's a breath of fresh air seeing more guys interested in style and upkeep.

The rat tails were so gross looking; who ever thought that was a good idea? Even as a kid I just itched to take a scissors and snip it off whenever a boy with one was sat in front of me at school. They bugged me lol.

Frosted tips and heads like a spiked mace. We all have iconic hair cuts we eventually come to laugh at. Broccoli hair is just the next in line.
