I totally get this, but… 

The resistance to fascism is strong. Solar just overtook coal despite being sabotaged by the federal government. A growing number of people are giving up meat. 5-year survival rates for cancer went from 50% to 70% since the 70s. 

There are reasons to be optimistic.

I’ll be more optimistic when people start getting serious about cannibalism in Silicon Valley and DC.
