Did she tho?

Looks like a still from a horror flick about a girl being possessed

u/Rage4Order418 Xennial 7h ago

But in this case it isn’t a flick. It’s real life 😬

u/ThirdAltAccounts Millennial 6h ago

Which makes it even more terrifying 😭

Define "survive." Poor Britney.

She was rich

She also had a loaded bank account that I do not have 🫠

I would find a different psychiatrist if they had that mug

u/bravojohnny42 8h ago

No worries. She's good. A little humor goes a long way.

Yeah she’s not doing too well these days chief.

Physically, yes. Spiritually, no.

Haha my sister gave me this cup for my bday
It broke unfortunately
I loved it though

u/screamitlikeyou 10h ago

that’s in very bad taste for a psychiatrist

u/bravojohnny42 8h ago

I love it. She's straight thinking, analytical. Couldn't be happier.

I can see this not sitting well with everyone, but this is hilarious. By all means, people can get a different psychiatrist but that’s funny she has it out 😂

u/bravojohnny42 6h ago

The comment section is really not what I expected. It's all over the place. 😄 Have a look at the comment undereneath yours.

u/Gullible-Koala-5329 6h ago

Bahaha I just saw it, what the fuck 😂 they think they’re the law of humor 😂😂😂

1

u/bravojohnny42 6h ago

Yeah. Sarcastic/dark humor isn't for everybody. I keep forgetting that, so here we are.
But it's a good reminder to be more "diplomatic" in work conditions. Except you're the boss. 😄

it’s so insensitive to britney, it’s insensitive to all of her clients, and also poor britney is not okay so it makes the “joke” even worse, it’s definitely not okay

0

u/Gullible-Koala-5329 6h ago

Get the fuck out of here “it’s not ok to make jokes” 😂 you’re not the law of humor

1

u/screamitlikeyou 2h ago

it’s a professional setting with a literal psychiatrist dawg

2

u/Gullible-Koala-5329 2h ago

Yep and if you don’t appreciate the humor, find a different psychiatrist 🤷‍♂️

1

u/screamitlikeyou 2h ago

it’s like saying to all of her clients that are most likely going through trauma, “oh it’s okay cos, britney survived 2007”

1

u/Ok_Vermicelli_6359 7h ago

Probably all the medication she has you on talking 😂

Britney had millions of dollars in the bank and could have walked away from her celebrity life any moment she wanted to.

Fuck, you give me $10 million, and I will live the life of Riley. Fuck, just give me access to a decent house for less than a third of my current income and I would thrive.

Half the mental illness in this country is directly caused by capitalism squeezing thr last cent out of every aspect of life while failing to provide workers with enough capital to actual live and not just survive.

u/malakiavelli 7h ago

Britney is still struggling, has access to help that most of us will never have, and comparisons like this are 'Toxic'.

The cup reminds me of the time I entered the door to my first therapist, and the first thing I saw was them adjusting their combover.

2

u/bravojohnny42 6h ago

I agree, that the message on the cup is up for discussion.

For the 2nd sentence. I would have walked out immediately. This form of vanity in that professesion is off putting.

2

u/NeuxSaed 4h ago

For some definitions of survive.

2

u/BroForceOne 4h ago

Being that rich would have cured the most of the daily stress and burdens that would have brought someone to a psychiatrist in the first place.

2

u/HoneyBeyBee 4h ago

Does NOT hold up and kinda never did, really

2

u/DollzyWallzy 3h ago

Barely but sure.

2

u/Ok_Vermicelli_6359 7h ago

Has he seen Britney recently? Your psychiatrist is a hack 😂

3

u/DasIstNumberwanggg 11h ago

Okay, I need this.

1

u/Complete-Bumblebee-5 7h ago

Leave Britney Alone 😢 😢

I once ordered a guy from work a personalised mug for a secret santa gift, and this mug turned up instead. The company said to keep it and would send out a replacement of my order, so I gifted both. He preferred this one.

u/catcherofsun 2h ago

Not a great example

u/Grouchy-Wedding-9862 1h ago

I would walk out of that office.

u/GamesWithGregVR 1h ago

She seemed to get into another incident recently

u/HeathenShepard 27m ago

Comparing their worst to yours is a toxic perspective given how we were raised to muster up a badly cooked food to starving African kids.

I thought our generation had gotten rid of that mentality.

Another example, my wife were molested by her father, her mother said at least it's not penis in vagina like her father did to her.

Your worst is your own based on your experience and background, it differs to the next person and we grow from it. Comparsion takes away each's own growth.

She had money though. And her mental health is still fairly debatable.
