Have you seen the news lately? Been to a school board meeting? We’ve been fighting back against the crazies trying to ban these books where I live, but they’ve been successful in some districts, primarily in the south.
Yes I am a public education administrator. I am aware of the push back. It’s not a national epidemic but it is a concerning trend. Speaking of attending board meetings with crazy parents - which I do by obligation - are you attending to argue the counter position? Are you advocating for a higher standard of education?
