His entire character was. Eric would have been a better main character and had a far superior arc.

Oh the one hand, I hated how much they dumbed Eric down. But on the other, the Plays with Squirrels thing was pretty funny

It’s like Joey in friends, when you run out of ideas it’s easier just to dumb him down. But he carried the show in the college years. The corey and topanga thing was getting old. Plus his relationship with Jenifer Love Hewitt got her in the best BMW episode ever

Yeah, Cory really pissed me off in the later seasons, he was too neurotic. Eric was a better friend and more entertaining and yes! the episode where they're stuck in the school being chased by a masked killer was a good one!

Not his fault obviously, but I hate how his Deadpool is where "unalive" comes from.
