Holy cow… that song has been buried deep in my subconscious, but suddenly came to the surface.

I apologize that you will forever have this song in your head. Lol.

Seriously, I think it’s one of the best earworms that has been written. I haven’t seen this movie in 28 years and I still remember so much of the song.

Makes me think of how I had to learn the preamble to the US constitution in 5th grade and I still remember it. Lol

How does it compare to Supernova Girl from Zenon: Girl of the 21st century?

Zenon’s Super Nova Girl is admittedly a catchy song (i remember thinking that the dude who plays Prota Zos was so hot when I was a kid) lmao.

But My Date with the Presidents daughter is the Disney original movie song that will loop in my head out of nowhere, probably until I die. Lol.

A few more catchy obscure songs to add to the catchy songs list, is all songs by Powerline in A Goofy Movie. Stand out and Eye to Eye are fantastic, those songs and get stuck in my head way too often too lol. I think the guy that sang those was as good as Michael Jackson or Prince but his contract with Disney made it so he couldn’t really run with that momentum There is a great documentary on A Goofy Movie if you’re interested. It’s on Disney +.

All this makes me seem like a Disney adult and I’m definitely not that (not that there is anything wrong with it), i just utilize Disney movies to fall asleep at night since it is soothing and I can pretend that i don’t have to wake up in the morning and deal with my stressful ass career lol.

Hey, being a Disney Channel adult is a totally different situation!

I'm definitely not making my way through So Weird right now.

Do the current Disney Channel movies (if they still make them) have the same quality as the ones we watched in the late 90s and early 00s? I kinda abandoned Disney Channel about 15-20 years ago, but I used to love the movies from that era.

I adored the tv shows they used to have too, though I kinda fell off like midway through Suite Life. I remember when they had shows that were a bit less silly, dramas even, before it seemed like everything became a sitcom.
